I had been dealing with pain for over a year and a half. After undergoing X-rays and an MRI, I was diagnosed with a bulging disc in my lower back and sciatic nerve pain radiating from my back down to my hamstring. I tried various treatments, including stretching, dry needling, and a cortisone injection, but nothing seemed to provide lasting relief.

Your During the training block leading up to my final NCAA season, I started to experience knee/hip pain from my IT band. Josh saught me out right away and began treatment and strength training. He was able to help me continue running as much as possible throughout the season. When the season was over I was able to take some time off. Before trying to run again he wanted to ensure my alignment was correct and even gave me tips on fixing errors in my running form. The combination of rest, treatment, and strength that I gained from his expertise has now allowed me to begin training again without any pain. I have learned so much from Josh as he was always sure to explain the purpose of each part of the treatment plan. His approach is focused on the entire body structure with a promise that each individual will come back from their injury stronger than before. I was referred to Josh for physio by my coach because I was struggling with an achilles pain and I wanted to make sure it didn’t get any worse. I must say Josh’s attention to detail was fantastic, he would try lot’s of different tests to see how my body responded and then would give me some exercises to do based on the results. I found that my pain started to go away after doing the exercises for the prescribed amount of reps and time Josh had given me. Josh was excellent, kind and courteous in his treatment of me. He worked to to make sure I performed each exercise properly, and if I had any questions he was through and knowledgable. After about a month the pain subsided completely. I highly recommend Josh.

I’ve been working with Josh for 6 months right now. It’s mostly about just checking up if everything is ok and sometimes when I get doubt on some of my body feelings, he’s here to help me fix it. It’s when Josh came in the bubble of Alamosa that we started working together! It’s great to have a physio as soon as we feel anything different than usual in our body. I also get exercises to strengthen my body and that allows me to avoid bad injuries. His knowledge is very helpful for athletes who are running a lot of miles like me.
